Submit a Digital Case

Jesse & Frichtel Dental Labs accepts digital impression files from all major intraoral scanners. View your preferred scanner’s digital protocols below to send your file to our labs. In addition to the scanners listed below, we also accept files from the following scanners: Dental Wings Virtuo Vivo™, Straumann® CARES®, Planmeca Emerald™, E4D NEVO, Condor®, Adin VIZ®, and any other scanners capable of producing an open .STL file.

Sirona CEREC®

How to send your files:

  • Create or Login to your Sirona Connect account.
  • Select “Cerec Connect”.
  • Type “Jesse & Frichtel” ( in the box for Company Name and click FIND.
  • Check the box to the bottom left for “Jesse & Frichtel”.
  • Click ADD to complete the registration.

How to send your files:

  • Go to in a web browser.
  • Connect with Jesse and Frichtel ( for the Pittsburgh location and for the Carmel Location).
  • After connecting to us as a Lab, select Jesse and Frichtel when sending files.


How to send your files:

  • Call 800-577-8767.
  • Select Option 1.
  • Request that Jesse and Frichtel is added to your scanner, and identify our lab using our phone number: 724-327-4553 or our lab ID
  • After Jesse and Frichtel has been added, restart your scanner.
  • After connecting to us as a lab, select Jesse & Frichtel Labs on your scanner when sending files.

3M™ True Definition Scanner

How to send your files:

  • Call 3M™ support at 800-634-2249 select Option 3.
  • Select Option 1 and request Jesse and Frichtel Labs be added to your scanner.
  • 3M™ will then confirm with Jesse and Frichtel and add connection remotely.


How to send your files:

  • Visit Carestream Connect on your scanner.
  • Search for Jesse and Frichtel Labs (
  • Add Jesse and Frichtel Labs.
  • Select Jesse and Frichtel when submitting scans raw .STL files

How to send your files:

  • Download and submit impression scans via the DWOS Connect software. If you need assistance, please call us at 724 327 4553.
Temporary Lab Closure Due to COVID-19

The safety of our staff, our customers and their patients is our highest priority at all times. Given the recommendations from the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Coalition for Oral Health and local, state and national government regarding COVID-19, our labs will now be closed through April 7, 2020 at a minimum. However, we are still offering pickups and deliveries via UPS. Please email with any inquiries.

*Please note: UPS will only make 3 attempts to deliver cases to offices. After 3 attempts, your cases will be returned to the Jesse and Frichtel lab. Additionally, we shipped several cases on 3/17/2020 prior to the closure. If this might apply to your practice, please check for the shipment at your office. If not received, your shipment will be returned to the Jesse and Frichtel lab and will not be shipped again until we reopen.

We will continue to comply with the requests from the Governor's office for Allegheny County and will follow best practices set forth to prevent the spread and severity of the virus. Rest assured that as soon as we are able, Jesse & Frichtel will be back to support and serve you as we have for the last 25 years.
